Accounts Senior and Accounts Semi-Senior

We are a long established Kent based chartered accountancy practice and are looking for an Accounts Senior and Accounts Semi-Senior to join our experienced team in our Broadstairs office.

You will work in a varied position across accounts and tax and servicing a mixed portfolio of clients.

The positions would be suitable for an AAT qualified person, or an experienced part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA, or somebody who is qualified by experience.

The roles will require you to have experience of (as a minimum):

  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
  • Completing corporation tax and self assessment tax returns.
  • Preparing management accounts.
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Reviewing and completing more complex Bookkeeping on behalf of clients
  • Potential supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members.

We would expect that the Senior role would be working with existing clients to maintain strong relationships and engage with new clients as the main point of contact for the firm

Secretary / Administrator

Levicks are looking for a full time (37.5 hours per week) secretary/administrator to assist in our busy accountants office in Broadstairs, supporting the Partners, accountancy and administration teams.

Responsibilities include:-

  • Greeting clients
  • Reception duties, including answering and making telephone calls; logging queries and responses
  • Typing letters, emails and reports
  • Updating various databases with client/company information
  • Processing documents and fee notes
  • General administrative duties, including filing

Skills/Attributes required:-

  • Proficient typing skills – accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel
  • Excellent communicator
  • Good telephone manner
  • Adaptable and be able to work well under pressure (adhering to various submission deadlines)
  • Punctual
  • Willingness to learn

Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday.

Salary is dependent upon experience.
